It's my very first GUADEC, so lots and lots of new faces: relating hackergotchi and IRC nicknames to real faces is quite fun, and you find yourself looking at the chest of everybody quite often (that's where the nametags are :).

]]> Back from Budva, ready for 6UADEC https://danilo.segan.org/blog/zivot/ready-for-guadec I came back on Thursday, slept over most of the day (having slept on average 3-4 hours a day in Budva), and yesterday picked up my visa for Germany.

I was disappointed to learn that it is valid only for period of May 27–June 1, but that's better than nothing, especially taking into consideration that I didn't even provide proper health insurance, which I'm still waiting for thanks to "timely" service of my bank. However, this means that if I want to plan any further trips to Europe Shengen area during summer, I'll have to apply for separate visas, which is PITA. :(

Budva was so much fun that I don't even have any pictures except on the very first and very last day (when we were kicked out of apartments before leaving, so we had some time to kill :).

I have too many things to attend to right now, and I'm very much behind with my e-mail, so if you're awaiting response, please don't get angry with me: I most likely will stay behind for another week or so.
